今日は、今年の9月にオープンした「CHAIR POINT」のお話です。

このお店は、金沢の川沿いにあるとてもロケーションが良いところ。

I will talk about “CHAIR POINT” which opened in September of this year.

This shop is in a very good location along the Kanazawa river.

 

 

店名にもあるとおり、ここでは椅子を借りる事が出来ます。

目の前の川沿いでゆっくりと出来る、居心地の良い場所なんです。

According to the store’s name, you can borrow a chair here. 

It is snuggly along the river, and slow here.

 

 

お店の内装はUP SETTERSが担当し、ロゴマークやストアバッグ等の

デザインサポートを:Synthesizeが担当しました。

店内はとても洗練されていて、カッコいいです！

For this shop, UPSETTERS was in charge of the interior decoration.

And :Synthesize was in charge of the design support; such as the logo mark and store bag. 

The store’s interior is very refined, and cool!

 

 

:Synthesizeは、CDのセレクトもしています。

ここでは、iPODで視聴しながら店内で商品をcheckしたり、外でゆっくり出来ます。

:Synthesize does the selecting of CD for this shop.

You can check an article in the shop, or you can relax outside while listening to an iPod.

夜、遅い時間にYellowに寄り道。
I went to Yellow late, around midnight.

BAVさんとKOJIROさんがDJしてたんです。
Because BAV-san and KOJIRO-san were DJing.

着いたときは、丁度 Roland Appel のDark soldier(Dixon mix)やAgoria等がかかっていた！
They played DJing of Roland Appel ’s Dixon mix, Agoria, and more !  

Tracey Thornの”It’s all true”もYellowで聴くと気持ち良い！ 
And Tracey Thorn’s “It’s all true” is a good track!  

勿論、オリジナルもいいけど。 
The original track is really good too.

僕は平日のYellowの雰囲気が好きだ。 
Yellow during the week has a good atmosphere.

 明け方までずっとフロアにいたんだ。 また飲み過ぎた。
I danced until morning. And got too drunk.

Steppers Recordsはいつも長居してしまう。

ここでの会話は楽しく時間が経つのが早いんだ。

Steppers Records always stays too long. 

Early in the conversation things are pleasant and time passes.

JAZZYSPORT OFFICEで西田君とMeeting。

Nishida-kun and I had a MEETING in JAZZYSPORT office.  

 

 

 

彼はいつもとても良い音楽を僕に紹介してくれます。

そして、彼のユルい性格が音楽と共に居心地の良い

雰囲気をつくってくれるんです！

 

He teaches music that,for me,is always good. 

His character is tender, and he creates for me an unhurried atmosphere with the music!

 

 

 

Meeting中に聴いていたEDGAR”JONES” JONES「SOOTHING MUSIC FOR STRAY CATS」。

モノラル録音でのこの音源はジャズにブルーズ、そしてTOM WAITS、& FAMILY STONE等の古き良き音楽を思い起こさせます。

初期のTOMMY GUERREROなんかにも近いのかも。

 

“SOOTHING MUSIC FOR STRAY CATS”by EDGAR”JONES” JONES is what I heard during the meeting. 

This work taped monaural recording. 

We feel jazz, blues, and good old music such as TOM WAITS, SLY & FAMILY STONE. 

And it resemble early TOMMY GUERRERO too.

 

 

 

寝る前に、横浜で買ってきた大好きなマーロウのプリンを食べた！

ビーカーグラスがとても良く、ボリュームたっぷり！

Before sleeping i ate my favorite pudding from marlowe that I bought in Yokohama! 

There is so much pudding in a beaker glass, it is very wonderful.
